TFTrainingPlan application (Part of TF Series) provides creation of individual Training Plans. Training Sessions associated with a specific Training plan can then be created from generated data using Create Sessions Menu.
It is compatible with and follows guidelines from USA Track and Field Coaching Manual. It also implements the Track and Field Training Theory principle of periodization to optimize performance.
Individual independent Training Sessions can also be created. Training Sessions created can then be evaluated for all fully completed Training Sessions.
Create Plan is used to create plan data used for each Training Session. The following data is selected in sequence when Create Plan is selected: Athlete Name, Year, Start Date, Training Season, Training Preparation(s), Training Phase(s), Training Event(s), and Event Types (Speed, Endurance, Distance, Strength, and Power).
Each Training Session is partially initialized with representative data. Training Session data can then be added or edited after the athlete completes each Training Session.
Individual Training Sessions can be created by first selecting Create Sessions menu.
Create Session is then selected and the following data is then created in sequence: Training Session, Athlete Name, Session Date, Training Season, Training Preparation(s), Training Phase(s), Training Event(s), and Event Types (Speed, Endurance, Distance, Strength, and Power).
Individual Training Plans and Sessions can be created, viewed, updated, or deleted using Training Plan menu selections. They can also be saved by entering a non-default, (Defaultxxx) Athlete Name.
Application also provides Evaluation of Training results after training data is entered into Training Session(s). Start Day, End Day, and Training Season are first selected. Depending on selection, evaluation results for Jump Distance, Throw Distance, Speed, Endurance, Strength, or Power are provided, both individual detail and an overall summary.
Evaluation of Training results provides event performance analysis and estimates of athlete fitness level. Evaluation of Training also helps an athlete achieve peak performance.
Application provides Track and Field sample training elements used to create training session(s). Elements provided include those for Sprint, Distance, Hurdle, Relay, Jump, Throw, Strength, and Power training session elements.
Training Session(s) can also provide data for user created custom reports.
Email, print (with compatible device), or retrieval (with additional software) of results is also provided.
